Temporal mandibular joint dysfunction, also referred to as TMJD. Sessions are a combination of neuromuscular therapy, myofacial, trigger point and intraoral techniques. TMJD symptoms: jaw pain, headaches, neck/shoulder pain, clicking, clenching, grinding, difficulty opening mouth, pain in teeth, tired/sore jaw upon waking, ringing in ears, sinus pain, pressure behind eyes, dizziness/vertigo. Self-care techniques optional.
This treatment is a combo of massage, lymph drainage and cupping. Massage can be very helpful for treating headaches, MLD can go one step further to reduce pain. Medi Cupping will relieve tension and help create space in the tissues bringing blood to the area.
30 minute sesssion. MLD helps reduce swelling and bruising. It can prevent and minimize adhesions and scar tissue from forming. It reduces pain and inflammation. MLD speeds the healing process. Please contact Becky to make appt.
